Dear Sugar Capital Community,
This month we added Outdoorly and Violet to the Sugar Capital portfolio bringing us to a total of 23 investments in some of the most exciting startups out there today. The mix of Outdoorly and Violet is a perfect representation of our focus of investing in eCommerce brands and the technology that powers them. Read more about both companies below.
We have two deals in the final stages that we will be able to share soon, and we continue to have the pleasure of meeting with new companies daily. At the same time, we do our best to support our portfolio companies while mostly staying out of their way.
On the fundraising front, we are preparing for a large close this month with our final close slated for September.

Outdoorly is a community of outdoor industry experts ready to help consumers find the right products for a chance to redeem rewards and shop at exclusive prices. Sugar Capital participated in Outdoorly's Series Seed round, led by Shine Capital.
Violet is an e-commerce middleware company. Their technology is a deeply integrated API platform that enables any media or tech company, regardless of size, to delight their customers with a native checkout experience for any product from across the internet. It’s like Plaid for E-Commerce - a single API for all of the e-commerce APIs. Sugar Capital participated in Violet's Series Seed round, led by Red Sea Ventures.
